Overview:
In this role, reporting directly to the CEO and leading a Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing high-frequency, event-driven trading strategies across commodities and equities. You will work with pre-generated signals from our proprietary Large Language Model (LLM) and ensure that trades are technically sound, aligned with market trends, and optimized for maximum returns. Your focus will be on applying technical analysis, managing risk, and scaling strategies to handle large portfolios. This role combines trade execution with system optimization to support our AI-driven strategies.
Compensation: Competitive salary range of AED 50,000 - AED 65,000/month based on experience and qualifications, with opportunity for up to 10% performance bonus, all tax-free. This transparent range represents our full compensation spectrum, with specific offers determined by relevant experience and demonstrated expertise.
Responsibilities:
Trade Execution: Implement trades based on pre-generated signals, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Technical Analysis: Use technical indicators (e.g., moving averages, RSI, MACD) and trend analysis to validate signals and optimize entry/exit points.
Algorithm Optimization: Fine-tune trading algorithms to minimize slippage, reduce latency, and improve overall performance.
Risk Management: Apply robust risk controls (e.g., stop-losses, position sizing) to protect the portfolio from adverse market movements.
Performance Analysis: Conduct backtesting and real-time performance evaluations to refine strategies and enhance profitability.
Collaboration: Work closely with the LLM team to integrate signals and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Scalability: Ensure strategies are scalable for large portfolios, managing liquidity and execution challenges effectively.
Required Skills (MUST HAVES):
Trading Expertise: 5+ years of experience as a systematic trader, with a focus on commodities or equities.
Technical Analysis: Advanced proficiency in technical tools and chart pattern recognition.
Algorithmic Trading: Proven success in optimizing algorithms for high-frequency, low-latency environments.
Portfolio Management: Experience managing (10m+) portfolios, with a focus on scaling and risk control.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, or similar for backtesting and algorithm development.
Risk Management: Expertise in real-time risk monitoring and mitigation.
Collaboration: Ability to work with AI/ML systems and provide actionable feedback.
Beneficial Skills (NICE TO HAVES):
Market Focus: Direct experience trading commodities (e.g., energy, agriculture) and equities (e.g., large-cap stocks).
Event-Driven Trading: Familiarity with trading around market-moving events.
Education: Master’s or PhD in quantitative finance, mathematics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
